Yes, soldier is soldier
Nicer but not wiser
As he has to accept orders
For fight against foreigners
At home or abroad
He is enlisted to be declared dead
The fight has become now global
Terrorists are armed with weapons lethal
Why are we shedding blood?
Why do we enter far off lands and in neighbor countries?
The war should not knock in home front
We bore thousand death and borne the brunt
Many may like and many may not like policies
The world needs protection with armies
Of friendly countries with strong resolve
To stand fast against global terrorism and solve
The ISIS menace and Sudanese pirates are new threat
We need to counter them and defiantly resist
Give passage to free world trade
Before they make any blockade
It is delicate situation
But we need not allow its continuation
We, as soldiers, are duty bound to defend
Wherever and whenever are likely to be sent
