The Devil Vs God's Plan Poem by Randy McClave

After God had created the Earth
He then gave humanity birth,
He gave them peace and joy and love
As God watched them from his throne above.
He gave them a garden to care for and tend
And creatures to befriend,
And man named the creatures one and all
As unto each one he did call.
They lived in joy and happiness and peace
Which would never cease,
They just had to obey the law that God had given
Into there mind it was driven.

The devil hated man
And he hated God's creation plan,
He wanted mankind to loathe and murder and hate
He wanted pain, agony and suffering to be their fate.
The devil then led woman to the tree
He showed her a fruit to eat which would set her free,
And from that tree her and man then ate
They then sealed their own fate.
The devil gave man racism, bigotry as he scoured
He taught man to be a bully, greedy and also a coward,
Then into Cain's ear the devil whispered a groan
Then Cain killed Abel because of envy with a stone.
