The Dragon Of Old Poem by Natalie Clyne

The Dragon Of Old

Rating: 5.0

Full of charm and beauty
Full of malice and suspicion
The dark eyes of old
Forever watching as the years go by

Razor sharp claws
On every finger
Never to be tamed
To be wild for all eternity

Able to fly
Built with enormous strength
Soaring through the skies
Breathing fire from its mouth

Scaly skin
Teeth of a croc
Its almighty size
Strikes fear into the heart of men

But not I
I do not fear it
I respect it
The ruler of the land…

The dragon of old.
