The Dressed Death Corona Poem by Udaya R. Tennakoon

The Dressed Death Corona

The death and nature being close friends
A baton is with one hand and a rope the other
Behind and frontline they march
From Global south to Global north
Where rich and poor are divided

Borders and regions and continents are created
Who knows who cares only man thinks belonging
Death and nature are of limitless universe everywhere
Left and right, black and white and in between colours

Once, twice and many times in a history
Human beings never learnt and heard
Wisdom and mind by mistake they are given
Nature regrets on going phenomena as a fault

The death is the obeyed servant to the master
The master of universe is the nature
Serious duty with humans than the others the death has
Beyond the nature arrogant and ignorant are talented

Boundless and kindness of diverse sameness
In universe smalls and bigs are given one forgotten
Who the hell you humans are the time to question
An order by nature through his servant many times warns
