The Essence Of A Woman - Poem by Bebai Rosa

Hello sister! May I have a word with you?
I've been with you all this time yet you've taken me for granted.
You've never identified with me, you've taken me for granted.
I'm bound to you, to compliment you
No schism can exist between us
yet you fail to acknowledge me.

You don't accept our co-existence
My place is to fill you, grace you, embrace you.
Your character in all it's comlexities are encompassed by me.
To reveal this mystery is to reveal my identity.

If you knew me, you would know you
When you learn of me, you learn of yourself
When you know me, you'll know you
Who am I?

Dare to journey within and explore the hidden secrets of self.
