The Evolution Of Bengalis Poem by Rahman Henry

The Evolution Of Bengalis

Rating: 5.0

In the twentieth century— hero,
Vertebrate;
Carrier of victory, of a terrian.

In the twentyfirst— spineless, fond of hiding and covers
As if snail, millepede, earthworm. Rarely comes out of
Veils; whenever comes out
Catch the frightened eyes— parallel to the ground;

And he can see: gradually the country reaches higher up...

Seeing this, eructates of satisfaction; as if he were the media!
Then returns down into the cave or inside the snail's monastery.
