The Fading Of All Things Poem by Not Long Left

The Fading Of All Things

Each and every day,
it faded slowly away.
Before man became,
and consumed all earths gifts.
Weathered by wind,
and sleet, snow and rain,
This rock was reduced to a grain.

Now it rests with a million other,
binded together in one of many bricks.
Bricks that seperate you and me.
Bricks that keep our houses nice and steady.

I can feel you breathing night and day.
You and I are weathering each other away.
Maybe our memories will steady these walls.
Once we have gone little by little,
Breath by Breath,
Regret after regret.
All things must pass,
and that's what scares me so.
