The Fragility Of Sanity Poem by Not Long Left

The fragility of sanity:
like that of a daisy
caught up in the bellowing
breath of the sky.
Slim stalk that clings onto
its roots within.
The flicker of the eye
a momentary loss of control.
The image that flickers
on the cinema screen
which only you can see.
Guide us through the maze
that is your mind
Help piece together
your broken mosiac of thought.
Let us write the manuscript
and compose the cure.
For love alone will not save.
nor clear the mass of suffocating
weeds that lurk upon the murky
banks of cold confusion.
