Every perception sows
A primordial seed
In mind's fertile soil
To begin its germination,
Stirred by inspiration,
At an unexpected moment.
It grows fast and steady
Into a spreading tree
With twigs and branches,
Full of flowers and fruits.
No one cares the agony,
The toil and perspiration,
The midnight-oil burnt
Behind the tree's growth.
The farmer's true concerns
Are cruelly ignored,
And one day the leaves fall,
Flowers and fruits follow,
One by one to the ground,
And lastly the farmer too.
