The Feminine Arts Poem by james watkin

The Feminine Arts

The feminine arts, bar those
Through workers of wiles
Hearts, ensnare, a boy's, girly
Lost to what, brutish, ugly
Man-like, man reviles.

What once, of garden's sweetness
Days, sedate contrive
Trailed behind, as long a gown
Of Spring deity's renown
For airs, decorative.
