The First Date

We all, have some recollection about
our very first date! Something, none of
us ever forgets. As we looked forward
with anticipation and hoped, there would
be no regrets. It was natural to be
apprehensive, thinking, would we both
hit it off well. But, my mind kept telling
me, that only time, will tell! I was hoping
he's be prompt, when he'd pick me up,
for our date. Or was he the kind, when
you said seven, he'd arrive at eight.
This was one of the thoughts, that had
occured to me. For being nervous, I know,
I'm definitely going to be! The day finally
has arrived. You hear a knock on the door.
It's answered. Your parents let him in. Just
one final look in the mirror. You're ready!
Time now, time for your date to begin!
