I stood on the dreamy platform of yesterday
Filled with optimism for a vague today
Then I find my dreams dashed by yesterday's tomorrow
The same future that gave me so much hope

Tease my appetite for a better tomorrow no further.
Empty thy bowel and give me a hint
Of what thou have in store for tomorrow
Reveal the storms ahead, and I will steer my ship away,
To avoid impending calamities hidden in your bosom.
