We glimpse the past as we look into space
but from us the future just hides its face.
Where can we delve and where can we go
our destiny and our future to know?

Reading the tea leaves and horoscopes fail
to show what's ahead or tomorrow tell.
Prophecy is the province of the Lord
and Revelation is found in His Word.

Open it up. For it can speak for itself.
It is unwise to leave it stuck on the shelf.
Let's look to the future and live by faith
Christ's the answer and He'll keep us safe.
