The Game Poem by Dawn Rodgers

The Game

Forget it
I'm tired
I don't want to play anymore
Just want to crawl in a hole
lay down and die
close my eyes
say good-bye

I don't know how to play
the cards are stacked against me
the rules make no sense

I think I know how it works
But really I don't have a clue
my head is in a fog

I wish someone would explain how it all goes
wheres my happy ending?

I just want someone true
Why is it all so complicated?
Why can't it just be me and you?
