I
Let us embark on a journey through the annals of history,
To the land of Genesis, where tales of old unfold with mystery.
A woman's role in life's tragedies, a story oft told,
The fall of man, like the walls of Jericho, crumbling to the ground, so bold.
II
Man was crafted, a being of might,
In need of a companion, a helpmate in sight.
But did she bear the weight of his downfall's blame?
Or was it a choice that sealed his fate, a story to reclaim?
III
A choice to make, with the forbidden fruit in view,
'An apple made me do it! ' or the serpent's cunning anew?
A decision once made, the blame we still assign,
A question that lingers, like a lingering sin.
IV
Woman, apple, or the serpent's guile?
Let us lay the blame aside, and acknowledge our own trial.
For in the end, it's not the tempter, but our own desire,
Everyone is responsible for their choices, a truth we must acquire.
