The Gift Of Divine Mercy Poem by Mohammad Younus

The Gift Of Divine Mercy

The gift of divine mercy—
Have you felt the gift of divine mercy
In the storm's weight, in ceaseless rain?
In shadows deep, where silence reigns,
Hope wraps me close, easing my pain.

The chaos swirls in a frantic dance,
Through the gloom, a radiant chance.
The coolness of rain, a soothing balm,
In nature's arms, I find my calm.

For at His command, the winds arise,
The rain descends, the earth replies.
Each drop whispers secrets untold—
A hymn of mercy, both tender and bold.

Peace waits beneath the torrential flow,
A treasure hidden where few dare go.
Though sometimes storms are hard to bear,
And trembling minds plead, 'Enough! I cannot bear.'

Still, I remain, unshaken, free—
Let God unfold His will for me.
Like a bird perched high, serene in the rain,
I sit in stillness, embracing the gain.

Hope of the rainbow shields my soul,
A prism of light, restoring whole.
Though shadows loom and tempests roar,
I trust His wisdom evermore.

So let the rain fall; let it pour—
In its rhythm, mercy will restore.
With each drop, my spirit ascends,
To light upon light, where grace extends.

In every storm, a blessing hides,
A quiet beauty, where hope abides.
After hardship, ease will bloom and sing,
And joy will soar on dampened wings.
