it is important to reference sources
give credit where credit is due
few things could be more important
than origins inspirations for poetic ideas
an entire poem poems may spring forth
from a few words lines in a poet's poem
written good or bad all poems are sacred
we walk in sacred ground a poet's mind

poetic words thoughts should be honoured
sadly a few critics acidic are excessively cruel
in time a few gentle pure hearts will write poetry
young poets take time need time to mature craft
poems word choices can inspire reader minds
written in simplicity complexity diversity poetry

if risk is taken to actually write words
inspired by a creative writer novelist poet
this becomes a sacred trust to honour words
written by another mind who pays the price
perhaps sincere hearts rise to challenges
a sacred trust to honour where honour is due
