The Girl That Stayed Poem by Mark Otieno

The Girl That Stayed

Have dated lots of girls
None will ever be like her
With all the insults and blows
Am still the guy she chose
I've never been a romantic guy
Yet she never seemed to mind
I wish i could let her go
But she doesn't want me to
She thinks my morals and values will grow
I hate when she cries
That's what i make her do most times
Why can't she move on?
Because me and her are so wrong
Why can't she be like the other girls?
The girls that didn't stay!
