The Giver Of Gold And The Taker Of Eternity Poem by Shaun Cronick

The Giver Of Gold And The Taker Of Eternity

Rating: 5.0

Oh! I shall offer you the world,
And everything that sparkles in it.
I ask only for your mere signature,
On my parchment please do submit.

Riches beyond your wildest dreams,
Shall simply fall into your lap.
Temptations of the highest order,
I cast out and so easily entrap.

Eternal materialism that all desire,
Is fleeting in my time's measure.
For when you sign your soul to me,
It's worth much more than treasure.
