Always a winner
always so certain
always so determined
always so persistent
of success, of achievement
of love, of generosity
of care, of concern,
of helping others,
of friendship, of dedication.
Always applauded when
every challenge thwarted
every journey completed
every trip reached its destination
every goal achieved its target
every feather added to the cap
every occassion celebrated
every victory, every event conjugated.
Appreciation and thankfulness
always gushing like a waterfall,
always enhancing gratitude
always enriching humbleness
always seeking righteousness in legacy
always holding value for unity
always sharing love infinitely,
so thankful to life was me indeed -
then came a voice and whispered
''every mission accomplished?
but the truimph over death-
can never be yours,
the Gods must win''.
