The Great Proposal Poem by duke perry abrokwa

The Great Proposal

Jesus, the Son of God, came to earth,
To show us love beyond compare,
He gave His life to show His worth,
And to offer a love that's rare.

He walked among us, a humble man,
Performing miracles and healing the sick,
He showed us love, a divine plan,
That would change our lives in a flick.

He taught us to love our neighbor,
And to forgive those who do wrong,
He led by example, a humble savior,
And showed us how to be strong.

But His greatest act of love,
Was done on the cross at Calvary,
Where He offered us salvation from above,
And set our souls forever free.

He hung there, in agony and pain,
Bearing the weight of our sin,
And with His final breath, He exclaimed,
'It is finished! ' our victory to win.

The great proposal was done on the cross,
Where Jesus offered us His love,
He paid the price, no greater cost,
To bring us to the Father above.

So let us accept His proposal,
And let His love fill our hearts,
Let us live a life that's purposeful,
And never let our love depart.
