The End Of The World Poem by duke perry abrokwa

The End Of The World

Rating: 5.0

Out of nowhere came the sounds of the trumpet
Sound of thunder and earth quick
The sound, was so loud
it awoke the hair of my skin
So scared I thought of my sin.
I head sounds I did not understand
I saw blur images, so dizzy to stand

I heard the earth trembling with fear
like the whole earth was spinning out of confusion.
Help! Help! echos out of frustration
I wondered, was that real or my illusions

As the sea started sanking up the lands
I kept hearing screams out of lungs
The sun beats mercilessly,
The scream of both men and women
The cry of both the rich and poor
The sudden panic of the aged, young and all

The earth cracked out of frustration
The earth beguns to swallow up men and animals,
Buildings and anything that stands on it
Its the end of the earth, the end of the world.

I fear death is coming for us all
Death spears no one, knows no one
Death not a respecter of persons, status or rank.
Death knows no one
No one knows their time
It's the end of the world.
It's the end of Days
