As the time's play tag with each other,
we look to the skies for another,
to bring us better days.
As the days play tag with tomorrow,
we look to the skies in our sorrow,
and hope for a change.
As the light turns the sky into darkness,
we look for the time of harvest,
so we can go to a better place.
As the stars all start to glisten,
we close our eyes and we listen,
for the gentle rain.
As the clouds all start to gather,
we lift our hands up for the shower,
and hope to see His face.
As the rain falls down as tears,
we feel the end coming near,
and know today's the day.
As we feel ourselves growing lighter,
we look for our Master,
to loose us from this cage.
As we reach the skies of Heaven,
we know we've been excepted,
and truly escaped.
