The Heart I Desire...
As angels dance across a star filled sky,
And loves melodious symphony beckons,
The wings of dragons have raised loves banners,
Shimmering high into the night sky,
Like a shoal of flat fish gliding across a sapphire sea,
Swathed heavily in the sparkling jewels of angels,
Yet once again I gaze upon this spectacle alone,
Has my inner poet abandoned me?
Downed his tools and deserted me in my time of need?
Shall I ever tempt the heart I desire from her hiding place? ...
