An ancient church long deconsecrated
A part of history from centuries ago
I step inside this heritage centre
back to when life's pace was slow
Old town stocks on display,
whipping posts for public view
Black and white photos of old scenes
I try to identify a few
A replica of an old school,
Ink contained in jars of glass
Wooden pens with nibs attached,
how things change as years pass
Cream is poured into a butter churn,
we hear it thicken at every turn
Butter is soon ready, patted dry,
freshly made butter, can't wait to try
