The Dublin Taxi Driver Poem by Margaret O Driscoll

The Dublin Taxi Driver

Rating: 5.0

A line of cabs by Heuston
I hail the first one in line
The taxi driver seems pleasant,
'Going to the RDS, that's fine'

Most Dublin taxi drivers
are known for a lot of talk
We seemed to be long lost friends
Before we reached Batchelor's Walk!
