The Hero...The Knight...The Soldier True

(Inspired from the song 'the sun will set for you')

How does the sun speaks to you?
Its beams cascading like spectral rain,
To remind you of the sages of long ago,
Has foretold, to quote:
'Many will seek, yet no one will find, unless,
Their hearts should bind, their words to their thoughts,
Finally, it shall unfold, A Hero to this day and age,
A lad so brave, so bold, '
The land trembles, quakes in pain,
The heavens silence in shame,
The time is nigh, tie that yellow ribbon around the oak tree tight
Follow the trail of tears, release the disembodied howl of anguish
that purges the soul, cleanses the spirit,
Carried in his caskett, buried with his noble bayonet,
The womb that cradles, that bore its weight,
Now, hear its crippling cry, as its heart amputates,
To let the blood that once nurtured, blood that flowed,
Dispensable, Disposable, this HERO, so brave, so bold,
As the sages long ago foretold,
One falls, one takes his place on hold,
To let the saga continues, the prophecy fulfilled.....
How does the sun speaks to you?
Its words echoes of old........
