The Hidden Secret Of Man Poem by Mohammad Younus

The Hidden Secret Of Man

The hidden secret of man—
Man, set apart from all that lives, reigns supreme,
Endowed with strength and powers that gleam.
Housed in a frame of flesh and bone,
Girded by the belt of a spirit unknown.

The hard task is his, divine powers bestowed,
To rule the realm where life has flowed.
Upon this world, his imperial throne is laid,
Firmly pitched by the hand that never swayed.

No beast may govern, no creature may claim,
The hallowed dominion of man's great name.
The Lord's own throne, both vast and grand,
Resides in man's soul, by divine command.

The vicegerent of the Eternal Lord,
Lives by His will, upholding His word.
Through man arise wonders, the cosmos awakes,
Stirring scenes where creation quakes.

For man, the cosmos was wrought and formed,
Mountains bow low, their heights transformed.
His words echo with divine decree,
Holy and pure, as stirred is he.

Adorned by holiness, his temple glows,
Where God Himself in man bestows
A voice, a visage, a sacred guise—
Through man, the Eternal does arise.
