The Hollow Temple Poem by Ana Ónimo

The Hollow Temple

Rating: 5.0

My eyes can suddenly shine
With the stars of tears
And I can break down and cry
And feel whispers in my ears
And a sudden moonlight will
Make me vulnerable, make me breakable
But, my goodness! You should believe
When I say god is feeling lost
Whenever he comes down my road
And that darkness hasn’t looked
So irresistible and incredible
Whimsical! ...confusing! ...operable!
Oh night! ! I cannot see! ! !
The sun is, oh so yellow!
And oh sun I cannot breath...
Your light now drags down my temple...
...Damp and sorrowful
I should stay here
For just one time
Before I get sick
