The Holy Spirit is the greatest
and divinest of all helpers
He takes hold of things for us
The Holy Spirit helps us in our weaknesses
He gives wisdom to our ignorance
He turns ignorance into wisdom
The Holy Spirit changes our weakness into strength.

The Holy Spirit pleads
for us and in us
The Holy Spirit quickens our prayers
He illumines our prayers
He inspires our prayers
He incites our prayers
He elevates the matter of our prayers
The Holy Spirit inspires the word and feelings of our prayers
He works mightily in us so that
we can pray mightily
He enables us to pray always
and ever according to God's will.

The Holy Spirit gives us boldness
and freedom of access to God
He reveals to us that which
we must pray for
The Holy Spirit "Helpeth our infirmities"
Vain are prayers without
the Holy Spirit
Delusive are prayers without
the Holy Spirit
Utterly fruitless are prayers

Inefficient are prayers
