'kural' in Tamil language means a'couplet'. In 'Thirukural' written by
Thiruvalluvar, thoughts are common to the whole humanity in this globe.The words, 'Tamil', 'Tamilian', 'Siva'(Hindu God) , 'the Hindu'or
any other proper name in Tamil do not occur in 1330 couplets.In so many languages, it has been translated. This work had been written in Tamil before the formation of the language, 'Sanskrit' in North India.
