The Hurt Never Settled Poem by Alexandria Angel

The Hurt Never Settled

Children's weeping in despair,
Of ever seeking there parents.
the family members cry
every time they hear their name.
Feeling the hurt,
the stabbing pain of never seeing them again.
The thought of being alone,
and not hearing they're voice anymore.
They still hurt everyday,
tears still spill upon every news they get.
Thinking about it makes they're heart bruise.
Every throbbing stinging pain of someone you love
being torn away from you forever.
You still wish they had never left that day,
but even though you couldn't say Stay....
The soldiers have a duty to the country,
they did it to protect you with such honory...
But some loved ones lost their soldiers in battle,
but the hurt never settle....
