The Imaginateur Poem by Bullion Grey

The Imaginateur

Rating: 4.5

On the west coast
there is someone who
is working to become a better creative.
Granted permission and power to live,
he walks with all who feel that inner inspire,
the small voice from within. He is known as the Imaginateur.
He enters no contests, has no awards, nor seeks fame or fortune. Marked with the signs of life along with the cooperation of death, the Imaginateur works to bring alive the Spirit of creation.
To him it seems we are all on the Infinite Journey, but some haven't awoke to it. He is barely awake himself, yet works as if awakening were the key, most important task we all share. In some magical, mystical way the Imaginateur gathers useful ideas, and timely parts of life and brings them into creative referrence for himself and others - whom he thinks of as the same. Imaginateur works with courage to pursue dreams others have laid aside. On into the night, past the sun of bright, across the city and under the world he attempts even when life is cruel, or has no patience for him. He carrys a tool for creating - his notebook and pen and writes at home, in line at the market, or waiting for a bus. Capturing each morsel of creative material that may help in some way to move toward the next crossing in the road.
He is the Imaginateur.
