The Indian Summer Poem by Paul Warren

The Indian Summer

Why do they call it an Indian Summer
Is it because warmer and not cooler
When the Indian Continent is Summer
As the days turn into weeks it can be a bummer
Particularly when you look forward to crisp days
And you end up with on a plain a dusty haze.
