The Journey Poem by Rajdeep Mazumder

The Journey

Rating: 3.0

Through hills, plains, land and sea,
I journey where my fortunes be.
The roads are twisted, forked and dark,
and I know not where lies my mark.
Yet I shall drift under starlit skies,
and gaze ahead with weary eyes,
until I behold my cherished end,
where heartfelt desires sing and blend.
Then back again through where I came,
my home and harmony, my heart to claim.
There I'll put my dreams to rest,
until it's time for another quest.
