The Journey Without You... Poem by Pranayee Rachamalla

Across the journey called life,
while i'm travelling with you, on a ship called friendship,
it was a wonderful journey,
viewing all the amazing things,
along with adventures, suspense and thrills.
It was wonderful until,
you decided to leave me,
In this position where, i can not swim back,
or can sail across,
It's like i'm blocked and locked in a lonely, silent-dark room
and nobody can hear, see or view me,
It's like you left me incomplete during a surgery,
or like bleeding from an unhealed injury!
at present i'm like a hijacked plane,
feeling crazy, mad, lunatic and insane.
It's like forcing a bird to fly without wings,
Digging my heart, and crushing my feelings;
the thought itself of you leave me, is mentally painful
unbearable, really horrible!
Our friendship remained as a dormant bud,
though you left me, your memories did not.
just like a ghost, following me and torturing me a lot!
but just because of you i learnt,
that affection is like medicine,
minimum w take, it cures and shows action
over dosage acts like poison!
If you had to leave me,
then why did you start this journey?
I wish all this is my hallucination,
because i can never imagine or face this situation!
