The King Of Kings And The Lord Of Lords! Poem by Denis Martindale

Why serve a king, if just a king, when God proves so much more?
We learn that God made everything that's ever lived before.
From dust we came, to dust we go, yet God remains the same,
Christ has His Kingdom, this we know, and Jesus is His Name.
And when the Saviour of Mankind returns to prove His worth,
No other Saviour should we find, or ruler of this Earth.

It's not too late to trust God now, His Royal Pardon's here,
No wonder that God's angels bow, and serve Him year by year.
Yet what of us, while we yet live, this mortal frame to own?
Should we serve God who would forgive the greatest sins we've known?
Our God grants more than life's rewards! His Son's much more than these!
The King of Kings, the Lord of Lords! Jesus, the Prince of Peace!
