The Land That Time Forgot Poem by White Tiger

The Land That Time Forgot

Inside this ancient ruins, of a civilization long ago
Lies a volcano, fermenting its ego
The forest floor is dark and cold
But the world outside, leaves a story untold
The early morning fog, which engulfs this place
Brings with it mystery, virtual elegance and grace
Slippery and wet and covered with lime
The rocks have withstood, the test of time
The drawings on the walls, represent the patterns
Of animals and man, who roamed this caverns
Rainbow flowers, caress the landscape
Canopies on towers, begin to form and shape
And of to the horizon, all is flat
This truly is, the land that time forgot.
