The Language Of Love Poem by Adams King

The Language Of Love

Rating: 2.5

Men they say are of many linguistics
Diverse tribes with diverse tongue
They understand their native languages
Patriotic to their tribal songs
Who can speak the language of love
I dare every man to raise his ugly head

Some are scholars in speaking Spanish
Some are called the fathers of French
Some are named the genius of German
While some the engineers of English
It's a thing of joy to speak your tongue
Yet no one speaks the language of love

You might be forced to prove me wrong
If i say the tortoise have no shell
Or the coconut is delicate than an egg
Or in a cup lives the greatest ocean
Won't you call me a man of many madness
If i say the snail is the fastest of all

The language of contentment and sacrifice
Such is the language lovers should know
What you call the best will be your best
Or haven't you read words created the world
I know a man with a little white candle
Yet he says he has the brightest home

Men with patched cloth who walk so bold
Than those with purple expensive apparel
Men with no shoes who walk with comfort
Than those with a protective sandal
A man is what he believes my friend
Or what you believe him to be my dear

There's no woman as beautiful as my lady
Show me a man who utters such word
With a sincere, truthful tongue and heart
He's truly a man who understands love
The language of love and it's commandment
For in love your choice is the very best

Only in love can a man float on a brick
and fetch water from dry sands
Or with a basket and ignore the bucket
In love a man will walk on waters
and pay no attention to dry lands
For love breaks every natural phenomenon
