The Law Of Christ

The law of Christ is laced with grace
Grace greater than all of our sin
He seeks us to become burden bearers
Because of our faith in Him
For our example He set the pace
Who went about always doing good
And calls us to follow in His footsteps
In loving the family of God

Look for the help you can extend
Unto a brother today
It may be the thing that picks him back up
And helps him along life's way
Don't wade in the shallow go deeper my friend
Search out how you can provide
Then blessings will fall not only on him
But you too will be blessed besides

So get your heart focused on extending some grace
God will lead you there if you pray
Have your antennae scoping for needs
The Spirit will guide you each day
Then grace such extended will bring its reward
Twice over and maybe even thrice
For such undertaking is well pleasing to God
In our fulfillment of the law of Christ
