The Light You Seek Poem by Joseph D E Phillips

The Light You Seek

Rating: 5.0

the gray cloud of the gray world
will grab you
make you sad

don't let it grab you
and pull you into its darkness

be the light and be the colors
the gray world lacks

smile and you will be happy
run a little
take a shower
eat some greens
and you will be happy, my friend

don't let the gray cloud of the gray world
grab you like a thief in the ally

remember that the light you seek
can only come from you

if you let the gray people from the gray world
control your mood
darkness is your future

while the people of the gray world whine
and moan and complain
light a match of color
and paint your world the way you please

remember
the light you seek
can only come from you
