The little vampire
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
You are hovering over my head
And in no time likely to descend
On my body mortal, but where
I know not, then I hear, I hear
The high pitch buzzing-tone
Of yours and you are not alone
Is this your style of lyrics?
Being tuned into searing tone-ics
That people on hearing go spellbound
And you suck blood buzzing around
A vagrant and untamed creature looking like a gnat
Of six mm long and 2.5 miligrams weight
Like a tiny, dark speck in the evening sky
With two or more together making a distant buzz falling by
May corrupt me by sucking my blood
Fearing I look up and down to crash you to ground
But you escape being nowhere
Then while readying for chores you appear
With a mission bloody and fatal
And you succeed despite one being watchful
Oh, you little leech, tell me your secrets of preciseness
While carrying out your stinging wishes
Being so little how can you be so powerful?
“God creates us all, be it a foe or an angel
And for the purpose to Him best known
And I am born only with a bloody mission”
Please let me execute my plan
Whether you are with your family or alone
So saying the little leech disappears
Only to be heard buzzing inside my ear
Out of mirth or fear I know not
Then I hold you to spare not
Lest may you fly to another destination
With a bloody and deadly mission
To suck and infect and suck and infect
Little knowing that humankind you hurt
Ah, what you are, not unwise at all
Straining sometimes at a gnat however small
