The Lost Poem by Palitha Ranatunge

The Lost

Rating: 2.0

The sighs of loneliness
Did you hear not?

A life without
Wine and women
Is boring,
Said the bar keeper with
A sly grin.

A star winked
At my window
Seeing my emptiness.

I sighed for the nostalgia...

I wonder who sings the same
Loving tunes of the past!
