The Love In Your Eyes Poem by Aanuoluwa Adebanjo

The Love In Your Eyes

Nothing more defines love
Than the one i see in your eyes
And though you hide from the truth
I see the truth in your lies
Our eyes has a way of passing messages
So impossible for oral conversations
Our feelings are shown in our eyes
Enabling others to read our thoughts
Not all of course
See the tinny-tiny blinks in our eyes
Which we mostly regard as love
But for those who can see it
They are those who know your thoughts at every point in time
They are those who have the key of our feelings at hand
They are our friends
They are our family
They see love in our eyes
And keep us in their heart of embroided love
