The Love Of My Life, My Origin—hu! Poem by Mohammad Younus

The Love Of My Life, My Origin—hu!

The love of my life, my origin—Hu!
My source, true and bright—Hu!
Since eternity,
When I was but a seed in the void—Hu!

The One who gives love
Without asking, without measure—Hu!
I love to receive these pure gifts—Hu!
Cupped hands wide, open—Hu!

The voice of love from eternity—Hu!
The divine, incessant call—Hu!
He is the One, the Whole—Hu!
The Single Reality, Ahad—Hu!

I was fashioned, timeless—Hu!
Born of His true light—Hu!
I am His child, His purest image—
The heart of His cosmic plan—Hu!

He has no other children but Man—Hu!
Clothed in His likeness and grace—Hu!
As old as Time, the divine reflection—Hu!
Once whole, now lost in the night—Hu!

Man wanders far and wide—Hu!
Yearning for his sacred home—Hu!
To return to consciousness—Hu!
To be what he was—whole and free—Hu!

Man need not stray in the labyrinth—Hu!
The path lies within—Hu!
He must lift the veil of illusion—Hu!
The mist clouding his sight—Hu!

The truth waits, hidden deep—Hu!
Within his soul's core—Hu!
For God gave wisdom—Hu!
The sacred light, to name all creation—Hu!

In stillness, He whispers—Hu!
His name echoing through all—Hu!
In the stars' dance, in the heart's pulse—Hu!
He is there—only He is here—Hu!

From Him, I come, To Him, I return—Hu!
For in Him, I was and always shall be—Hu!
