The Love Of Sleep Poem by Jinnuraine Jaigirdar

The Love Of Sleep

In the endless assembly of fatigue twilight,
At the end of a glorious sunny day light,
In the quietness of a dark prosperous night,
I want to go to deep sleep in a long vacation delight;
There will not be any sorrow after all in the sleep plight,
I will be a stranger in the kingdom of dream without any trouble upright.

I want to go to sleep in love alright,
Let the earth be free of war at the end of my sleep sprite,
Let there be a peaceful morning sunlight,
I want a peaceful world, at the end of my sleep smite,
Let the pain and sorrows contrite,
At the end of my sleep kite, let there be a world full of dreamy delight.
