The Magic Poem by Aaron Hassette

The Magic

The life you lived was so short and sweet
You’ve accomplished things no one can meet
A champ at 14, a record you make
What can they call you? Nothing but great

The magic in the ring which your opponents felt
These were the skill that gave you your belts
A gladiator on the inside covered with beauty
With pride and joy, you fought for your country

You have helped the needy, the sick and even the poor
You have helped younger persons and show them a door
The passion you show for the younger generation
You have given much love and such motivation

A champion you came and a champion you left
Your name and character, we will never forget

By Aaron Hassette in memory of the late Giselle Magic Salandy
