The Magpies Poem by Margaret O Driscoll

The Magpies

Rating: 5.0

Across from the Observatory I hear
Rustling in a tree as I pass
Broken beech masts fall down
More lie scattered in the grass

In between the beech tree foilage
I spot two magpies there
Broken beech masts fall down
I shake some from my hair
