The Man On The Mountain - Poem by Kasia Fedyk

On the mountain
where the veins are filled
with the exquisite liquid and soul that echoes
through the chambers of the vine
there sits a man completely still
his focus comes from within
his mind is empty and his thoughts
have escaped
his eyes opened
arms extended in an embrace
absorbing the endless skies
he becomes the center of its vibration
his heart filled with Divinity
feels the euphoria of its contents
he closes both windows to his soul
so ever gently, only to feel
the impact of his ecstasy
can you imagine such man
among all the things that seem so harsh
to us
so much like matter
tangible and felt
with flesh yet so distant
to the paradise within
so many times as i sit
and my soul reveals
so much to me
and the words come so gently and settle into me
and yet not once have I come close
to what it is truly saying
or maybe I have and this is its revelations
from the other side of the mirror
so I become the visions
in different specks
like millions of water drops
that make the ocean
and without one the oceans
can no longer make the waves
that come to the shore
this mans eyes become the sky
and his body becomes the mountain
and his soul a part of the Universe
like you and me.
