The Meditating Buddha Poem by Tushar Ray

The Meditating Buddha

Rating: 5.0

Behold, the beauty of Lord Buddha
Lost in meditation!
His heart's compassion encompassing
All the living soul
His ears are tuned into the OM rhythm
From the fathomless sky
As his nose is busy drawing the Prana
From cosmos beyond high
His happy tongue is quietly engaged
In tasting the inner bliss
As he radiates the peace all around
About his divine face
With third eye fixed at ultimate light
Thru a riveting vision
His purest intellect is shining steady
As elegant morning sun
Thus merged in Truth with a huge heart
The Lord has become the fun

Thank you Akhtar Saheb. The mindset of Lord Buddha seems to be vividly reflected through his statue. I saw another kind of brilliant reflection in the picture of Lord Jesus Christ which became the theme of my poem on Christ. You will love the “Jesus Christ on the Cross”. Thanks again! Tushar
